Reactivating the Smartgrip Base

Debris or particles may get trapped in the valve of the Smartgrip base. Please use any or all of the options listed below to clean out the particles and reactivate your Smartgrip base.

Option 1. Rinse the Smartgrip Base
– Run water into the center of the Smartgrip base.
– Thoroughly shake the water out of the base and wipe off any droplets from the silicone skirt.
– Retest the Smartgrip function by gently tapping it and lifting it.

Option 2. Flex the Smartgrip Silicone Skirt

– Flex the silicone skirt to enable extra flexibility in the base.
– Retest the Smartgrip function by gently tapping it and lifting it.

Option 3. Blow air into the Smartgrip Base

– Using compressed air, blow air into the center of the Smartgrip base.
– Retest the Smartgrip function by gently tapping it and lifting it.

Option 3. Blow air into the Smartgrip Base
Liquid Not Flowing Fast

– This may be a result of a blocked vent hole.

– To clear the lid vent hole, take a pin and carefully poke all the way through to enlarge the vent hole.
